It is a 612 page volume (Spanish Edition) with more than 1,100 bands reviewed in more than 256,000 words, an in-depth analysis with a never-seen-before scope, covering history, musical form, aesthetics, evolution, lyrical themes & more, and studying separately the 10 major styles of Extreme Metal.

HELL! IS THERE AN ENGLISH EDITION? WHAT ABOUT OTHER LANGUAGES?

Currently, only a Spanish Edition has been published, and we are looking for partners for upcoming editions in other languages, specially English, German, French, Finnish, Russian, Portuguese, Hebrew… you name it!

WHO IS THE AUTHOR?

My name is Salva Rubio and I hold a degree in Arts History. I work as a writer and screenwriter and have been listening to Extreme Metal since 92.

I am a metal fan who has devoted years of my life to write this book with the aim of giving back to the scene and to this great music all the good it has given me.
